Birthdate noted as 14 Jul 1878 (no birthplace noted) The 1918 Masachusetts Springfield Area directory indicates that Samuel Dubray had moved to Holyoke. ------------------------------------------------ PLATTSBURGH SENTINEL, Tues., Aug. 23, 1921 Aug 21 - Mrs. William Dukray [sic] of Saranac, and Mrs. Phil Dukray [sic], of Redford, have returned from attending their brother's funeral. Mr. Saloman Dubray, at Willimansett, Mass. Mr. Dukray [sic] was 43 years old and was born in Redford. About 20 years ago, Mr. Dukray went to Willimansett to live and since then had been employed in the George R Dickson Division of the American Writing Paper Co. of Holyoke, Mass., as a millwright. While istalling a new shaft in the basement of the mill, the housing chain broke and struck Mr. Dukray, injuring the spine as to cause his death 33 hours later. He leaves, besides his wife, one son, Clifford; three step children, Mrs. William Bolduc, Charles, and Louis Duby, all of Willimansett; three sisters, Mrs. George Myette, of Chicopee Falls, Mass., Mrs. Nelson Gagnon of Holyoke, Mass., and Mrs. William Dukray of Saranac, N.Y.; five brothers, William Dukray, of Colder, Idaho, Louis, of Nashua, N.H., Judson of Standish, N.Y., Charles, and Phillmore, of Redford. The bural took place in Cavalry Cemetery in Elmwood, Mass. |
