Mrs. Mary Tavernier
Mrs. Mary Tavernier, wife of Anthony Tavernier, passed away at her home on Church street at 6 o'clock Thursday morning, after an illness covering the past year, the last two weeks of which her condition was extremely critical.
Mrs. Tavernier was born in Canada seventy-two years ago and was married to Mr. Tavernier fifty-two years ago, since which time the couple had made their home in this immediate neighborhood. She had a wide acquaintance and was known as a woman of many splendid traits of character.
Surviving are her husband, four daughters and two sons, Mrs. Lewis Wood, of Chateaugay, Mrs. Frank Delargie [sic], of Chicopee, Mass., Mrs. Gertrude Bell, of Springfield, Mass., Mrs. Annie Amour, of Chateaugay, John Tavernier, of Burke, and William Tavernier, of Malone. Besides a grandchild, Miss Mary Tavernier who had been a member of the family since childhood.
Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's chapel at 10 o'clock on Saturday morning.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, and four daughters, John, of Burke; William of Malone; Mrs. Lewis Wood and Mrs. Annie Armour, of Chateaugay; Mrs. Frank Delargie, of Chicopee Falls, Mass., and Mrs. Gertrude Bell, of Springfield, Mass. There is also a grandchild, Miss. Mary Tavernier who has been a member of the family since childhood. The funeral was held on Saturday.
